A very mesmeric tune you've got there. I kinda like the instruments, and the chords are nice. When I turn up the volume, though, it becomes a lot less pleasant to listen to. After a while it peaks a lot too, which is why I gave you a low clarity score. You need to watch your levels. And always make the finishing touches. ;)

Your singing is great man. Both tunes are very good. The clarity though, especially on the voice could be better. Hope you don't take this the wrong way, but the 97 version screams Eric Johnson. Were you inspired by him? The lead sounds so much like him it's scary. I think it's awesome that you can play like him! ^^

Thanks a lot man! I'll take an Eric Johnson comparison anytime -- although, believe it or not, I've never really listened to him. Funny coincidence though. (Although, I am a major fan of several guitarists with similar styles to him, i.e. Satriani, Holdsworth, Lukather, etc.) Thanks a lot for the review and the great compliment.

The instrumental below was made in May 2006; The 97 version (which isn't posted here) was just me singing and an old Ibanez PF3 guitar... and on that one the vocals were truly eeek-worthy, as my 17 year old voice cracks in more than a few places. Yeah, we're just gonna pretend that version never happened!

This reminded me of Dimebag -rest his soul-. Awesome riffs, guitar sound is good, the drums are cool. You should add a bass track man, then it would be awesome. It's a 4 and a download. If you added some bass and tightened up the guitar playing slightly I would give you a 5. \m/

Ahh this tune is cool man. I like the bells. The mix is not bad, but could be better. The volume needs some adjusting. Do you use compression on your tunes? You should. Anyways the tune is damn cool, and I'm gonna vote 5 even though I think it's a four. There's more than enough 0 voting bitches to counter that anyway. Keep it up man! :)

Nicely!

Good job on this one. I liked it. Not much to complain about :P maybe it would be cool with some more defined drumbeats, but then again it has a special feel as it is. I like the sounds you use, and the mix sounds very nice on my speakers. I'm gonna vote 5.
