Wow

That was awesome. Best sweeping I've heard in here, it was beautiful. Very inspiring. I'm gonna go play my guitar now, but first I'm gonna 5 this song. Keep up the good work!

myrdok responds:

Thanks bro

Yery cool tune

I know it's a forest theme, but it sounds like a pirate theme. The cymbals sort of resembles waves or cannon fire. Or is that just me? I've never heard this song before, but it's extremely catchy. I checked out some your stuff, and it's very good. I'll listen to some more later. This was great! Keep 'em coming!

XGM-Zeth responds:

Well; It's a forest theme from Super Mario RPG; therefore the name.
But your illustration also show the fact that it could be used in other things; as a sea-battle thingy or anything with sea.

Anyways; norsk for the win!

Awesome.

I like it! Very grand. Fits the title. Congratulations on a beautiful tune. You have great talent. I like the subtle nuances in your songs. It's evident that you have put a lot of work into them.

DavidOrr responds:

Yes, I do put loads of work into my pieces (espeically this one), I'm glad you could see it. It passes the time better on a plane when you are doing somthing enjoyable :). Thanks for your reviews, I'll be sure to check out your stuff and rate/review when I get the chance next!

Nice work!

This is very cool. I like the sounds and ideas, a bit much reverb maybe, but not too bad. The score this tune has is enough to make anyone cry, but that is much too often the case on NG. I'm giving you a five, but there's always room for improvement. Keep up the good work!

DavidOrr responds:

Thanks for the review!

Groovy

Once again, you did great. This was very relaxing. It took some getting used to, though. As it progressed I liked it better and better. It has looped for a while now, and it just keeps getting better. I think this song really benefits from being listened to in the dark. Groovy. I can't find much negative to say about this song. The sound is a bit sharp, but that's about it I think. I'll 5 it.

Rucklo responds:

Harp!
Hah, glad you liked it! Can´t find much to say really, but htanx alot for the kind words man! I´m gonna have to review your stuff one day or another, you do good stuff man!

Bop Bip Bopp

This is a very weird catchy tune. And I got to tell you, I love weird. I have hundreds of weird little tunes on my harddrive. I really like your ideas, the little melodies and stuff. You are obviously a skilled musician with an ear for catchy stuff. A lethal combo. I'll check back on your music later.

Rucklo responds:

Thanx mate ^^

Great stuff

Very nice job i must say. I like it. A bit chaotic at times but for the most part it's very nice. Try panning the instruments like they would be placed on a stage. Keep the bass stuff in center. Imagine you have a drumkit in front of you and pan the drums according to what their placement would be in real life. This can be a problem if you use pre made loops, though. Your stuff just keeps getting better, so keep it up!

SolusLunes responds:

I never really thought about the minute details like that. But you're right, it is the minute details that separate the McAwesomeBurgers from the McPerfectBurgers.

Nice

Far from as awesome as part 1 but still pretty good. The different instrument parts clashed a bit, and the song was standing still when the same part looped for a long time with only small variations. I have a feeling that you put a lot more effort into part 1.

Slayer-of-trolls responds:

Yeah, this is basicly the left overs...
I mixed too much stuff together and, I admit, it didn't work too well.

Thanks for listening & reviewing it.

This is nice

Congratulations on breaking the 3 min barrier. The song was pretty good, I like your melodies. I suggest you get some better sounds, I know it can be a drag but it will help your music immensely. There's free VSTi's that generates better piano and choir sounds, check out kvraudio.com and search for instruments. It's excellent. There's lots of free drum samples out there too. Just google "free drum samples".

Kirizzle responds:

Thanks much, it was a goal of mine to finally break that 3 minute barrier and I'm glad you liked my melodies because I think I suck at making them =P but I'm getting better =)

And thanks for the tips, I'll check out kvraudio.com next time I wanna make a song and search up some good drum samples :D

Very cool.

How'd you get so good so fast? :) You shouldn't hide your talent with rushed songs like the first ones you made. This song is really nice. The echo on the bass drum was a bit weird and I think the sound could have more clarity, but overall it was very nice work!

SolusLunes responds:

Once again, I must give you most credit for this, because you helped me slow down on my songs a lot :)

Check out my audio! I've got everything from metal to electronic to classical. You can of course use it in your game, just give me credit. Rock on! ;)
